About us:

RDM Next helps companies to innovate faster and better. Our mission is to inspire, enable and activate all levels within companies. We do this through workshops, guidance and advice. We stand for inclusion and matchmaking in the field of digitalization and innovation.
We give our workshops and sessions from a very cool space: the Loft. In addition to workshops, we organize the most inspiring events, meetings, conferences, online events and more. Because we are always innovating within the world of events, we are looking for an enthusiastic Events intern!

What does the job involve?

We have several events per week in De Loft and our other spaces. During your internship you will get to know and/or pick up various aspects, such as receiving guests, contacting suppliers and placing orders. You can also learn to prepare quotations and initiate customer contact, depending on what you would like to learn. We will look at this together, but at the end of the day it is important that you get a lot of energy from contact with customers and guests. You will ultimately become part of RDM Next's business card!

You are or have:

  • A heart for Rotterdam and its port;
  • Good communication skills and strong in Dutch and English: we can leave those social posts to you;
  • You think along, are solution-oriented and enjoy learning and trying out new things to see if something can be improved. We are a flexible team, it's great if you are too!;
  • You also have an eye for detail and you pick things up yourself. See it = do it mentality, but you can always ask for help;
  • You live in the Rotterdam region and can easily reach us by public transport or preferably have a car (free parking on site).
